As of today, our church family has already given $1.9 million to Forward Together, about 35% of the amount pledged to the campaign. To see this level of giving so early is incredibly encouraging. God has been generous to us, and we continue to see that generosity reflected through our church family.

The Vision Continues

Forward Together has always been about more than renovating buildings. It is about stewarding the campus God has entrusted to us so that it can support the ministry of Westminster for generations to come.

We continue to see why that matters. This past Sunday, 37 people attended our Discovery Class, including a newly married couple who began attending in January. They have already joined a weekly small group, are pursuing membership, and have invited friends to do the same because of how warmly they were welcomed.

Stories like theirs remind us why this vision matters. God is bringing people to Westminster, building relationships, deepening faith, and using this church to share the hope of the Gospel in Rock Hill.

Moving Toward Construction

Our elders have approved a focused first phase of campus improvements with a $7.5 million goal. Because of the extensive project, this first phase will focus on the Sanctuary Building, including improved accessibility, as well as a new entrance and improvements to the Multipurpose Building and the playground.

We currently anticipate construction beginning no later than June 2027, with work beginning in the Sanctuary Building. Because of the extent of the work planned for the Sanctuary, there will be a period when we worship elsewhere on our campus. We will share more about timing and temporary worship plans as the construction schedule is finalized.

Please continue to pray for wisdom, provision, and ultimately that everything we do through Forward Together would strengthen the ministry of Westminster and bring glory to Christ.
